4 months

Look at that comb-over!
At four months, Charlie is a happy baby. He smiles and giggles and screams like a girl. He's also long and skinny. His four month checkup put him officially 25th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. 13 lbs, 14 oz and 25.5 inches long, and keeping baby shampoo makers in business with all that hair. That also means that he's grown 6 inches since he's been born - no wonder he keeps outgrowing clothes!

Speaking of clothes, Charlie's in 6mo size clothes. He loves having his clothes changed, especially ones that go over his head. He smiles and laughs and gets real excited. I never knew getting new clothes was so much fun.
He's sleeping great at night, going about 12 hours with one feeding about 8 hours in. Naptime is much more consistent now, typically three naps a day ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours each. On a good day, he'll do one 2-2 1/1 hour nap, and two others at least an hour long. Depending on what time he gets up and how long naps go, he's eating 5 or 6 times a day.

He still loves his mobile and toys, and is getting quite good at grabbing and holding onto things. Mommy's hair is a favorite, naturally. He has some real fun toys from cousins Natalie and Elizabeth, and is getting lots and lots of use out of those. Books are also still great fun, and he loves it when Daddy reads Bible stories at night.

All in all, we are loving (almost) every minute with him and can't imagine life without him!
